Notes:

This Zhevra was the very first Recruit A Friend reward mount. It was later retired, but then returned in Patch 5.4. Recruit A Friend mounts (and pets) that may be earned by recommending World of Warcraft to a friend, using the special "Recruit A Friend" button at the top of your in-game friends list. If the friend purchases a full copy of the game and subscribes for at least 3 more months (previously 2) you may pick a reward. See the official Recruit A Friend page for more information.

Note that it's also possible to "recruit" yourself and earn a reward - simply supply your own email address in the Recruit A Friend form. After receiving the official email you'll have to buy and subscribe to an additional WoW account under the same email address.
