Warcraft Mounts launched in February, 2008. It is designed and run by an orc undead hunter named Mania.

Advertising

I use advertising on Warcraft Mounts to help offset the time and resources I spend on the site. I do sometimes accept individual advertisements, but most of the ads here are either affiliate links via ClickBank or context-sensitive Google Adsense ads.

I do not knowingly accept advertising for goods or services that contravene the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. I don't always have perfect control over the ads, however -- especially Google Adsense ads. So if you see something that doesn't look legit, please drop me an e-mail.

Technology

Warcraft Mounts is primarily custom software, built with PHP and MySQL and using bits of the Zend Framework. The mount images are generated from World of Warcraft game data via WoW Model Viewer.

As it happens, my day job involves building web pages like this one. Please feel free to contact me about any web development needs you may have.

Privacy Policy

Warcraft Mounts collects aggregate browsing data from visitors, including the time and pages you visit, via Google Analytics. In addition, we log the IP addresses of registered users for security purposes.

Creating an account here to track your mount collection requires a valid e-mail address. Your e-mail address is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared or sold to third parties (except as may be required by law). Your e-mail address may rarely be used to contact you individually, but we will not spam you.
