How to obtain your mounts in the new expansion.

The following are mounts that are known to have been released in Warlords of Draenor, listed by their source.

Garrison Stables:Capture & Train Your Own Mounts

If you construct a Garrison Stable you have the opportunity to capture and train our own mounts! There are six different mounts to obtain:

In addition, there are two armoured mounts that you can earn for completing special achievements in the course of training the above mounts:

Crafted / Profession Mounts

Both tailoring and leatherworking are able to create new mounts. These mounts require a 700 skill in their relevant profession to learn, but only a 300 skill in the same profession to ride.

Loot:World Rares & Bosses

Mounts obtainable by killing rare NPCs out in the open world of Draenor.

The following six were added at expansion launch. Unlike those available in Cataclysm and Pandaria, these mounts are intended to be much easier to obtain. They are intended to be available to anyone who tags the NPC, regardless of whether they're in a group or not and the drop rate is 100%!

Several more can be obtained in Tanaan in patch 6.2. Their NPC sources do not require large groups to kill, but neither do the mounts have a 100% drop rate. There is a small chance that one of the NPCs will drop a cage which contains a mount.

The following mounts all require certain reputation levels with new Draenor factions in order to purchase. The Armored Irontusk (Alliance) and Ironside Warwolf (Horde) also require you to have a level 2 Trading Post in your Garrison. The Crimson Water Strider requires you to construct a Fishing Shack, complete a series of fishing achievements, advance the Shack to level 3 and attract Nat Pagle to join you.

Non-Reputation Vendor Purchases

Mounts that are sold by vendors but do not require you to have any level of faction reputation.
