I did all the Undead starter, Silverpine, and Hillsbrad quests and yes, I'm sure quite a few general Horde ones to round it out, but I had an Undead pony at 46 for my BE. I actually found it harder to scrounge for relevant quests to get enough TB rep for a kodo for my troll, but also mangaged to get it by around lvl 46/47 I think. Also did all the cloth hand-ins I could, but you can't do the Runecloth til level 50. I am grateful Blizzard changed the rep scales to give full rep no matter what level you are, otherwise it would be impossible before level 60 and the repeatable Runecloths I reckon.

I got my Zhevra last night... you can basically get it within a few minutes and without leaving your computer if you want to.

- upgrade your account online with Blizz for $19.95 (I think)

- DON'T choose to pay with a credit card unless you want to wait a month... instead, purchase game time from the Blizzard site. I bought 3 months for $41.97.

- Apply the time to your new account and you get to assign your Zhevra instantly. If you already used a credit card to pay, just change your subscription; it'll ask you why you're cancelling your account, but just continue and apply the card.

- Don't forget that you get a free month for your main account, too, so it cost me about $45 for the mount and getting to dual-box...

It wont help for those of you wanting to get the mount before 30/40, however you can farm AV starting at 52 and turn in the repeatable quests there for spill over rep.

You'll also get honor so you can start 60 with decent gear/save till 70 for S2, and you'll easily get exaulted with Org this way as well, giving you the wolf as another option. I wanted S2 on my BE Hunter and decided to do this, got Exaulted with all 4 cities before I was done with my honor grind. The hardest part is figuring out when to go back to the hold. Wait to long and there will be too many Allies/NPCs are dead, go back too soon you have to run up to the battle again to get more items.

Estella-
I've done all that.I've done every UC starting quest as if I was playing a Forsaken.

I did the Barrens after doing Silverpine Forest.I did Hillsbrad,Arathi Highlands,Badlands,STV,Swamp of Sorrows,Desolace,Feralas,Tanaras,Thousand Needles.

You name it,if it gave UC rep or even spillover rep gains and it's within my level I've done it.I might have missed a drop quest here and there because I have really bad luck with drops period.I've also turned in cloth including Mageweave.I'm still short.

If I can manage two more levels I'm just going to do Runecloth donations no matter how long it takes.I'd rather grind for Runecloth than mess with this headache.

It stinks that Horde only has two 10 to 20ish zones that gives spillover (Barrens and Silverpine) while Alliance has four (Westfall,Loch Modan,Darkshore and Bloodmyst Isle).

Marathonian and Mania -

I actually had my own Belf exalted with Undercity by the time she hit 40. It requires a bit of out-of-box thinking, but here's what I've come up with.

Despite the 'ZOMG. Do Ghostland Quests!', those don't do anything for you. Seriously. They give you Tranquillien rep and that's all.

Start out on doing the entire starting area. Wind your way through and do the end of that quest line. I then went to Allakahzam and looked up and did all quests that give HORDE XP. This means it fills out all brackets of Rep. You'll still be shy after you do all the Horde and UC rep quests. The last topper is going through and doing any quests that are for Lv10+. This grants you spill over. I think what I did was went to Barrens and just worked on random quest lines there and dinged randomly. But you cannot do it before 40 alone if you don't do the horde + spill over type rep things. (Also don't forget the cloth rep rewards!)

Good luck.

I know *exactly* how you feel, Marathonian! I also have problems with hawkstriders and raptors making me motion sick, and my blood elf is also still struggling to make Exalted with Undercity.

I plan on getting a second account just for this mount. Not because I collect mounts.

Nope simply because I get seriously sick riding my racial mount.BE hunter is my main.I cannot ride it for a few minutes without getting urpy, and that's without looking at it.I can't ride a raptor either for the same reason.

I've worked hard from the beginning to become exalted with UC,but I'm still fairly far off (16831 Revered) despite doing every quest I could find that gave UC rep, including all the starting zone quests.I'm having such a tough time I thought I'd have to wait until Brewfest to level my character past 48.

It really is that bad.

It may be lazy/clever marketing, but hey, it's the -cheapest- mount to date that we're forced to use real-world monies to obtain~! Go go $50!! (rather than $100 turtles, $250 rockets, $1,200 tigers....*sobs*)

You get the black and white. It arrives in your mail. :) So no colors as of now.

I told my guild leader about this last night.

She went to walmart and 3 hours later (( I assume she and her husband went out to eat))

She already has one. She has the black and white one. I didn't ask if she had a choice of colors.

If you wanna see one in game, her name is Nokomis on Shu'halo. She's got TONS of mounts. from Spectral tigers, to riding turtles and as of yesterday, the Zhevra.
